Your Inner Voice

… is often wrong.

Here is the big plan, the great idea and before we go into action mode our inner voice wants to have a say as well. There are 5 different approaches our inner voice can take in a negative way.

1. Find an excuse e.g. ‘People would think I am crazy by attempting this.’

2. Rationalize it e.g. ‘I did this only to keep the other person happy.’

3. Delay e.g. ‘I need to wait for this to be over first before I can start.’

4. The Inner Critic e.g. ‘Looking at your experiences, do you really believe that you can do this?’’

5. The Sarcastic Voice e.g. ‘If it is such a good idea then how come nobody else thought about it?

Don’t let your inner voice put you off. Good ideas are fragile at the beginning. So, you need to nurture them for a while. Make a good plan and give it a good effort to make them into a success. Many obstacles are not real. They are just in your mind. Typically, you can achieve more than you have thought possible before trying thoroughly.
