One of my seminar participants asked me recently if the share of behavioural styles is essentially different between genders. In other words if females tend to more one of the styles and males more of others.
Here are the numbers, based on my data base. My database contains 1386 assessments of male and 1059 of female managers and executives.
Here are the numbers, based on my data base. My database contains 1386 assessments of male and 1059 of female managers and executives.
The percentages are in the sequence of DISC
Female
- Natural Style - 9.4%, 24.6%, 50.0% , 16.2%
- Adapted Style - 7.6%, 17.9%, 35.8%, 38.7%
Male
- Natural Style - 12.8%, 20.5%, 49.1%, 17.5%
- Adapted Style - 8.3%, 18.0%, 29.4% , 44.3%
I am not a statistician, but in my view the differences are minor and statistically not relevant.
